BestTravel consists of an application for organizing sales and travel packages. This project was part of Google's professional certificate and my role was to carry out the entire development of the project, from research to usability testing.
Many users have difficulty planning and purchasing their trip in one place, so the objective of the application is to synthesize the needs of travelers in one application so that they can plan and purchase their trips.

In order to better understand who and how our users behave, we conducted a comprehensive mapping exercise and crafted Personas.
Using these Personas as our guides, we made a step-by-step map of how users plan their trips. This helped us understand what users go through and where we could make things better.
From our research, we noticed that users had trouble comparing different travel options, not just between destinations but also within the same place. This was especially true when it came to the prices of hotels and tickets, which could vary a lot.
To further understand the problem and seek solutions, a competitive analysis was carried out, in which we sought and observed companies in the market that solve the problem, directly or indirectly. With this, we were able to extract several ideas and points for improvement in the solutions that are offered today.

First, based on the research we did, we designed a user flow to facilitate the development of screens and their interactions. The flow allowed a better analysis of the application's functionalities, making it possible to better design ideas before even starting to design the final screens.
With the flow ready, we developed wireframes for the screens to be able to plan the elements that would be on each screen, visually presenting the ideas and functionalities thought out during the development of the user flow.
With a first site structuring model, we can carry out a validation step. To achieve this, a prototype was developed with low-fidelity screens and a usability test was carried out using the Maze platform.

This project allowed me to go through several areas of UX/UI Design knowledge, from research to usability testing. With this, I was able to learn a lot, not only the theory, with the course material, but also through the development of the project itself.
